Ioachim Ciobanu in “Atlas of the Universe”

We want to congratulate Takeda Technique student Ioachim Ciobanu for his supporting role in the feature film “Atlas of the Universe.” Romanian director Paul Negoescu tells the story of a ten year old boy who mistakenly buts two right-foot shoes and sets off across the countryside to find the missing left one. This film has been in most of Europe’s top film festivals including Berlin (where it won a special jury prize) and Cannes. Ioachim plays Balan.

Ioachim is in our September 2026 Self-Tape 101 class and is a frequent booker. You may have seen him in “Mission Impossible” and Netflix’ “Black Mirror” and “Eric” to name a few.

He is represented by DBA agency out of London.
