Jordan Nelson Books “Christy”

We are celebrating Takeda Technique student Jordan Nelson’s booking of the feature film “Christy” that begins its theater run this weekend. The Black Bear film is directed by David Michod and stars Sydney Sweeney, Ben Foster and Merritt Weaver in the biography drama of 90’s female boxer Christy Martin. It’s been getting awards chatter after premiering at the Toronto Film Festival last month. Jordan plays an ER Doctor in the film. This is his first studio feature film.

Jordan was in our October 2021 Self-Tape 101 class. He’s had a good autumn, recently appearing in Netflix’ “The Hunting Wives.”
